This Cookie Policy explains how Jupiter Technologies Ltd ("Jupiter", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, jupitertech.io.

It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

This website is operated by:

Jupiter Technologies Ltd
64 High Street, Ashwell, Baldock, SG7 5NR, Hertfordshire, UK
[email protected]

Jupiter Technologies Ltd is registered in England and Wales under company number 16588775.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They can help a site function properly, remember settings, understand how visitors use the site, and support features such as analytics, security, embedded content, and marketing.

This policy also covers similar technologies that store information on your device or read information from it, including:

  • local storage and session storage in your browser;
  • pixels and tags, which are small pieces of code that report a visit to another company; and
  • scripts loaded from another company's servers.

Where this policy says "cookies", it means all of these unless it says otherwise.

3. The short version

  • Until you make a choice in our cookie banner, this website sets no advertising or measurement cookies and sends no data about your visit to any advertiser.
  • If you accept all, Microsoft Advertising, Google Ads and Meta set cookies through this website and receive data about your visit, including your IP address. We use this to see which of our advertisements bring visitors and enquiries and, if you allow it, to show you our advertisements on other sites.
  • On one page, jupitertech.io/callisto-demo, where our advertisements in ChatGPT lead, OpenAI does the same if you accept all there. OpenAI's tag runs on no other page.
  • Refusing is as easy as accepting. "Cookie settings" at the foot of every page changes your choice at any time.
  • Whatever you choose, your browser keeps a record of your choice, and two security cookies may be set: one by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and one for the meeting calendar, Calendly, when you start to fill in a form. None of these is used for advertising.

UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003) requires us to tell you clearly what we store on your device or read from it, and to obtain your consent first, unless the storage is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for.

Advertising cookies are never strictly necessary, and nor is measuring how our advertising performs. We therefore ask before using either, and we ask every visitor, wherever in the world they are.

How we ask

On your first visit a banner offers three buttons: "Accept all", "Reject all" and "Manage". Under "Manage" there are two purposes. Both are unticked until you tick them:

  • Measurement (conversion tracking). This lets Microsoft Advertising and Google Ads set their cookies and record that a visit, an enquiry or a booked meeting followed a click on one of our advertisements. Google is told not to use the data to personalise advertising. Microsoft's tag has no separate setting for that: see section 6.
  • Advertising (ads personalisation and remarketing). This also lets Google use data about your visit to show you our advertisements on other websites and apps, and it switches on Meta's pixel and, on jupitertech.io/callisto-demo only, OpenAI's pixel. Meta's pixel cannot separate the two purposes, so it runs only if you accept both; OpenAI's runs on the same terms. Advertising cannot be chosen without Measurement.

"Accept all" accepts both purposes. "Reject all" refuses both, and none of the advertisers' tags is loaded. Consent is never assumed from silence, scrolling or continuing to use the website: if you ignore the banner, nothing is set.

How long your choice lasts

Your choice is remembered in your browser until you change it or clear your browser's storage. We ask again if we change the wording of the banner or the list of advertisers, because a consent counts only for what you were shown when you gave it. For the same reason, because jupitertech.io/callisto-demo names one more advertiser than our other pages, a choice made there is asked for again on our other pages, and the other way round.

5. What this website stores

The lists below are what we observed in our own tests of this website on 9 October 2026, and for OpenAI on 23 October 2026. The advertisers can change the cookies their tags use; we review the lists when we change a tag.

Set whatever you choose: strictly necessary and security

Name What it is, and what it is for How long it lasts
jt-consent Local storage, set by this website. Records the choice you made in the cookie banner, the version of the wording you were shown, and the date and time. Until you change your choice or clear your browser's storage
cf_clearance Cookie, set by Cloudflare, our hosting and security provider. Records that your browser has passed Cloudflare's check for automated traffic, which protects the website from abuse. Up to 1 year
__cf_bm Cookie on calendly.com, set for Calendly by its hosting provider. Tells real visitors from automated traffic. It is set when you first start to fill in one of our forms, because that is when the meeting calendar's script is requested (section 6). 30 minutes
jt-nav Session storage, set by this website. A single marker, set when you follow a link within the website, so that the next page opens at the top. It holds no information about you. Removed when the next page opens, or when you close the tab

Measurement (only if you accept Measurement)

Name What it is, and what it is for How long it lasts
_gcl_au Cookie on this website, set by Google Ads. Identifies your browser so that a later enquiry can be linked to a click on one of our Google advertisements. 90 days
_gcl_aw, _gcl_ag, _gcl_gb or _gcl_gs Cookie on this website, set by Google Ads. Holds the advertisement's click identifier when you arrive from one of our Google advertisements. The name depends on the kind of advertisement. 90 days
_gcl_ls Local storage, set by Google Ads. The advertisement's click identifier and a counter. 90 days

_uetmsclkid Cookie and local storage on this website, set by Microsoft Advertising. Holds the advertisement's click identifier when you arrive from one of our Microsoft advertisements. 90 days
MUID Cookie on bing.com, set by Microsoft. Microsoft's own identifier for your browser, which Microsoft uses across its websites and services. 13 months
jt-click Session storage, set by this website. Keeps the details of the advertisement that brought you here (its click identifier and its campaign labels) while you move between pages, so that they can be stored with an enquiry. Until you close the tab

IDE Cookie on doubleclick.net, set by Google. Google's advertising identifier for your browser, used to show Google advertisements on other websites. 13 months in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland; 2 years elsewhere
Meta's local storage Local storage, set by Meta, under the names lastExternalReferrer, lastExternalReferrerTime and multiFbc. The website you came from, when, and the click identifier above. Until you clear your browser's storage
__oppref Cookie on this website, set by OpenAI, on jupitertech.io/callisto-demo only. Holds the reference of the advertisement in ChatGPT you clicked to arrive. 30 days
__obref Cookie on this website, set by OpenAI, on jupitertech.io/callisto-demo only. A random reference that identifies your browser to OpenAI. 1 year
__oaiq_consent Cookie and local storage on this website, set by OpenAI, on jupitertech.io/callisto-demo only. Records whether this website allows OpenAI's pixel to measure. The local storage entry has the same name without the underscores. 30 days (the cookie); until you clear your browser's storage (local storage)

Accepting Advertising sets no further cookie for Microsoft. Section 6 explains what each company may do with the data its tag collects.

Google, Microsoft, Meta and OpenAI may also set or read cookies of their own on their own domains (for example google.com, doubleclick.net, bing.com, facebook.com and openai.com) when their tags run, particularly if you are signed in to an account with them. Their own cookie notices, linked in section 6, describe those cookies.

What this website does not use

We do not use analytics cookies. We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which sets no cookie and stores nothing on your device.

6. Who receives data, and what they do with it

If you accept, the advertisers' tags are delivered by Google Tag Manager, which is loaded only after you accept. When a tag runs, your browser contacts the advertiser directly. The advertiser receives:

  • your IP address;
  • the address and title of the page you are on, and the page you came from;
  • details of your browser, device and screen;
  • the identifiers held in the cookies listed in section 5; and
  • the fact that you viewed a page, sent our demo request or audit request form, or booked a meeting.

The tags do not send your name, your email address or anything else you type into our forms, with one exception. On jupitertech.io/callisto-demo, if you accept both purposes, OpenAI's pixel reads the email address and name you enter in the form, and your browser turns them into a hashed (scrambled, one-way) version before anything is sent. OpenAI receives only the hashed version, with your enquiry and with any meeting you then book, and compares it with the hashed details of its own users to link them to an advertisement it showed in ChatGPT. A hash cannot be turned back into your email address or name. OpenAI calls this "automatic advanced matching".

If you accept both purposes, our own server also tells Meta, and on jupitertech.io/callisto-demo OpenAI, when you send one of our forms or book a meeting, so that a browser which blocks their tags does not lose it. It sends the fact of the enquiry or booking with the same random reference as the tags, your IP address, details of your browser, the identifiers held in their cookies listed in section 5, and a hashed version of your email address and name, made on our server. If you refuse advertising cookies, our server sends nothing to any advertiser.

This means that, if you accept, individual visitors are tracked, and data about them is shared with the third parties named below for advertising and marketing purposes. Third parties, including Microsoft, Google, Meta and OpenAI, use cookies, pixels and similar technologies to collect or receive information from this website and elsewhere on the internet, and use that information to provide measurement services and to target and deliver advertisements.

Microsoft Advertising

Microsoft collects and receives personal data about visitors who accept, through its Universal Event Tracking tag. We use it to see which of our Microsoft advertisements led to a visit, an enquiry or a booked meeting. Microsoft may also use the data to show advertisements based on your past visits to our website.

Microsoft's tag has one setting for storage rather than separate settings for measurement and personalisation. It is switched on when you accept Measurement, and switched off when you refuse or withdraw it. This means Microsoft may use the data it receives to personalise advertising even if you accepted Measurement alone. If you do not want that, leave Measurement unticked, or use Microsoft's advertising settings below.

Microsoft explains how it uses this data in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. You can opt out of personalised advertising from Microsoft in its advertising settings.

Google receives data about visitors who accept, through its Google Ads tag. We use it to see which of our Google advertisements led to a visit, an enquiry or a booked meeting.

If you also accept Advertising, Google may add your browser to lists of people who have visited our website, which we may use to show our advertisements to past visitors (remarketing). Third-party vendors, including Google, show our advertisements on sites across the internet. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and device identifiers to serve advertisements based on a person's past visits to our website. If you accept Measurement alone, Google is told not to use the data to personalise advertising.

Google explains how it uses this data on its Business Data Responsibility site, and describes its cookies in How Google uses cookies. You can opt out of Google's use of cookies and device identifiers for personalised advertising in Google's Ads Settings.

Google also provides Google Tag Manager, which delivers all the advertisers' tags after you accept. Tag Manager sets no cookie of its own. Google receives your IP address when it loads.

Meta (Facebook and Instagram)

Meta receives data about visitors who accept both purposes, through the Meta pixel. With an enquiry or a booking it also receives a random reference for that event, so that the event is counted once. We use it to see which of our advertisements on Facebook and Instagram led to an enquiry, and Meta uses it to provide measurement services and to target and deliver advertisements, including ours.

Meta explains how it uses this data in the Meta Privacy Policy and describes its cookies in the Meta Cookies Policy. If you have a Facebook or Instagram account, you can also control how Meta uses data from other websites in your ad preferences.

OpenAI (advertisements in ChatGPT)

On jupitertech.io/callisto-demo only, the page our advertisements in ChatGPT lead to, OpenAI receives data about visitors who accept both purposes, through the OpenAI measurement pixel: as well as the items above, the reference of the ChatGPT advertisement you clicked; with an enquiry or a booking, a random reference for that event, so that the event is counted once; and, with an enquiry or a booking, the hashed email address and name described above. We use it to see which of our advertisements in ChatGPT led to an enquiry or a booked meeting, and OpenAI uses it to measure and deliver our advertisements. OpenAI's pixel does not run on our other pages.

OpenAI explains how it uses this data in the OpenAI Privacy Policy.

Opting out of interest-based advertising generally

As well as changing your choice on this website (section 7), you can opt out of the collection and use of information for interest-based advertising by many companies at once at:

Other services on this website

  • Cloudflare hosts this website, protects it and counts visits. Cloudflare receives your IP address and the pages you request, as any host does. Apart from the security cookie in section 5, it stores nothing on your device.
  • Calendly provides the meeting calendar. Calendly's script is requested when you first start to fill in one of our forms, whatever your cookie choice, so that the calendar is ready if you want it. At that point Calendly receives your IP address and the security cookie __cf_bm in section 5 is set. If you then choose "Schedule a virtual meeting", Calendly's booking page opens inside ours. Calendly receives the name and email address you typed, so that you do not have to type them again. When its page opens, Calendly and the providers it uses set their own cookies and use local storage. In our tests on 9 October 2026 these were a session cookie on calendly.com (_cfuvid) and a cookie from Stripe, Calendly's payments provider (m, 400 days). The Calendly Privacy Notice describes them.

Our Privacy Policy explains what happens to the information you send us in a form.

7. How to change or withdraw your choice

Click "Cookie settings" at the foot of any page. The same banner opens with your current choice, and you can change it or refuse everything. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it.

When you withdraw:

  • the tags are told at once that consent is withdrawn, and no advertiser's tag is loaded on any page you open afterwards;
  • the advertisers' cookies and local storage entries that were set on this website are deleted from your browser, together with the advertisement details kept in jt-click;
  • no further data about your visit is sent to the advertisers, except that on the page still open Microsoft's tag reports the withdrawal itself, and the closing of that page, without any identifier; and
  • cookies on the advertisers' own domains (MUID, IDE, test_cookie and fr in section 5) cannot be deleted by this website. They stay until they expire or you delete them in your browser, and this website no longer causes them to be read.

If you withdraw Advertising and keep Measurement, the same happens for Meta and OpenAI alone.

You can delete cookies, or block them altogether, in your browser settings. Common paths are:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security
  • Safari: Preferences / Settings → Privacy
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect how the website works. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect legal, technical, or operational changes, including when we add or remove an advertiser. Any revised version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If the change affects what you were asked to consent to, we will ask you again.
